There was a time in my life that I was so far gone into my self destruction that I couldn't feel the things I was doing to my body. Including giving it away, saying yes to things I didn't want, and ignoring the gashes I let them make. My mind was completely separate from my body.
This oil painting was inspired by the art of Yuko Tatsushima. Paint was applied with a palette knife. A knife was stabbed through the canvas where the genitals are.
